This is not a talk

It's the book,
brought to life.

The Dallas stop of The Risk Worth Taking book tour comes to the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. Set inside the theatre, this is an immersive afternoon of storytelling, strategy, and live conversation: Teri walking through the book herself, a fireside chat with Tashara Parker, and an open Q&A with the room. You'll hear the chapters she could only write because she lived them. You'll hear the why underneath each one.

The Venue

A Dallas stage
built to turn heads.

The Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, in the heart of the Arts District.

Some buildings whisper. This one announces itself. The Dallas stop is set inside the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre, a soaring glass-and-aluminum landmark in the Dallas Arts District designed by Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Prince-Ramus. It turned the idea of a theater on its head, stacking everything above and below one luminous room. For one evening, that room is The Risk Worth Taking.

It was built to bring the audience in close. Flexible, intimate seating wraps the stage so no one feels far from the conversation. Bold on the outside, warm on the inside, exactly the room for a night like this.
